Memories were created on the basis of notes and photographs from the personal archive of his father, Pyotr Aleksandrovich Tyurin. They reflect the life and creative path of the chief designer of artillery and rocket technology at the Arsenal Design Bureau: childhood in Voronezh on the territory of the Agricultural Institute, youth within the walls of the Moscow Higher Technical School, the war years in Gorky, in Podlipki in the TsAKB General V. G. Grabin, maturity in Leningrad under development of shipborne automatic artillery mounts and strategic missile systems.
