The Complete Guide to Solving Problems with Thinking Tools to Succeed at Work, Personal Development, and Ultimately Design Your Happiness.

Of course, working on a project in the office and working on your own personality are different, however in fact, it contains similar steps. There are ten steps. They may be familiar to everyone as disparate ideas and recommendations of specialists, but it is more useful to combine them into stratagems: universal ready-made techniques, strategic moves for making decisions in difficult situations.

Each of the stages is an important practice from creative tasks and exercise. Under the cover are dozens of practical tasks from which the neurons of the brain will earn with renewed vigor.

Who is this book for

This book is for everyone who wants to change their life, make it more conscious and show your best using design thinking methods.

From the author

The happiness of achieving goals is related to our desire to explore - the so-called heuristic value. It is difficult to live without a sense of heuristic value, it seems that many problems remain unsolvable and contradictions accumulate, and their symbolic price becomes ever higher. Few things make us so happy as finding a solution to a long-standing and complex problem.

Solving specific problems with the tools of thinking is a practice of a special kind. The first and main stage is the constant study of our thinking. The next step is to create your own combination of practices that are well suited to solving your problems.

In this book you will find allusions to the works of Aristotle, Hegel, Propp, Kant, Jung, Vygotsky, Kahneman, Adler, Csikszentmihalyi, and dozens of other authors, philosophers, psychologists, scientists.

Models of techniques used to consistently solve your problems are designed as stratagems. Each stratagem is a separate, special scenario, logically connected with the previous one and the next one. It must be understood that initially stratagems are instructions on behavior in battle. I turn to my experience as a sapper and see how knowing the exact rules of behavior and tactics automatically helps to minimize risk and create conditions for success.

Let's say you have the task of checking an old minefield, which should no longer be dangerous and suspicious objects, but it turns out that this is not the case. You have no idea where the mines can be and what their technical condition is. But you start work according to strict rules: you inspect the area, starting from the nearest objects. This strategy makes your actions confident, logical, productive. You move further and further, constantly thinking about how your opponent thought, acted, saw the space.

The main method of the book is to find a solution to any problem through the passage of ten symbolic steps - stratagems. Each step creates a semantic space and an algorithm for thinking about an urgent task.
