The peculiarities of the shaman's thinking are largely due to two factors:
– the specifics of the culture of the community in which the shaman operates (the main activities are reindeer herding, sea fur hunting, hunting, fishing and gathering)|< /p>
– the specifics of a special activity, due to the role of the shaman as an intermediary between the World of Man and the Worlds of Spirits, Ancestors and Elements.
To describe the thinking of a shaman today there are not enough language means. This is natural, since the activity of a shaman in a tribal society is not mass and therefore is not a subject of communication. However, I tried not to introduce new terms, except for two that are quite obvious in terms of composition: noogenesis and psychobody. The text uses both the works of already reputable authors and evidence of a description of the life and work of famous psychics and forecasters. Of course, he also relied on his own observations and on the stories of credible witnesses.

Книга "Мислення шамана" є глибоким і захоплюючим дослідженням особливостей мислення шаманів, що базується на культурних та соціальних аспектах їхнього життя. Автор вдало поєднує науковий підхід із живими спостереженнями, що робить текст не лише інформативним, але й цікавим для читача. Відзначаючи специфіку діяльності шаманів як посередників між світами, автор відкриває нові горизонти в розумінні їхньої ролі в суспільстві. Хоча в тексті можуть бути деякі недоліки в перекладі, загальна якість викладу та глибина аналізу компенсують ці недоліки. Книга стане знахідкою для тих, хто цікавиться антропологією, культурологією та духовними практиками. Рекомендую всім, хто прагне зрозуміти шаманське мислення та його вплив на культуру
