The memoirs of the legendary General M. G. Drozdovsky (1881–1919) tell about the events of the Civil War in Russia and cover 1918–1919. Particularly interesting are the author's impressions of the famous campaign of the Drozdovites - a march along the route of Iasi - Don. As an appendix to the diary, fragmentary entries for 1915-1917 are given, vividly characterizing the personality of the general, who became a legend of the White movement.
