The compiler, priest. K. Subbotin, when explaining church hymns and sacred rites, was guided mainly by the book of Fr. K. Nikolsky, as well as the books of Bishop (later Archbishop) Vissarion "On Vespers" and "Explanation on the Divine Liturgy", from short manuals, mainly applied to the book of Fr. V. Znamensky "The Teaching on the Divine Service of the Orthodox Church".
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
