During the Second World War, almost all the inhabitants of the Jewish shtetls died. However, I would not like the memory of them to fade away. So I searched the Internet and found different photos of shtetls. Then I grouped the photos by topic and made a kind of album. I colored the photos, but, unfortunately, color pictures are only in the electronic version of the proposed book. They are printed in black and white.
The book has an educational and cultural character.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.

Книга "Єврейські штетли" є надзвичайно важливим проектом, який допомагає зберегти пам'ять про єврейські громади, що загинули під час Другої світової війни. Авторка зуміла зібрати унікальні фотографії, які не лише ілюструють життя в цих містечках, але й передають емоції та атмосферу того часу. Кольорові знімки, хоч і представлені лише в електронному варіанті, додають глибини та живості до історій, які стоять за кожним кадром. Хоча текст книги перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту і в деяких місцях є недоліки, загальна якість перекладу вражає. Ця книга не лише освітня, але й культурна, адже вона спонукає до роздумів про історію, пам'ять та ідентичність. Рекомендую всім, хто цікавиться історією єврейських громад та культурною спадщиною
