The collection includes six articles written by the author during the 44-day war in Karabakh in the fall of 2020. Laconic in form, the articles, however, consider this war from different angles - from geopolitical, historical, and philosophical. The author draws parallels with the 16th century, when the small Venetian Republic fought alone for a long time against the Ottoman Empire, and with the 19th century, when Great Britain began to use Turkey as a counterweight to Russia in its geopolitical interests. He also considers the problem from the point of view of historical justice. Of particular value to the collection is the fact that it is not "wisdom in hindsight", but a kind of document of the era - the thoughts and associations that the author had during the military events. The first article was written on September 29, two days after the start of the war, the last one on November 10, the day Armenia capitulated. You can be sure that this is the first author's collection on the topic on which many more books will be written.
