This edition of the works of P. P. Bazhov is printed in three volumes. The first volume consists mainly of Bazhov's early tales, written and published by him in the pre-war years and partly during the Great Patriotic War. These include cycles of semi-fantastic tales: about the Mistress of the Copper Mountain and wonderful masters | artisanal - about Poloz, snakes - the guardians of gold and about the first miners | legends about the old Urals. The second volume contains stories published by P. Bazhov at the end of the war and in the post-war years. They are written in a more strict realistic manner, and there are almost no fantastic characters in them. Thematically, the narrative in these tales reaches our days. The third volume includes essays and autobiographical works of the writer, articles, letters and archival materials.
