In the book of the famous French philosopher Bruno Latour (b. 1947), an original project of "experimental metaphysics" is developed. Its main goal is to develop a new concept of political ecology, which would allow to combine scientific practices with a democratic decision-making process, which requires a simultaneous revision of the three concepts of logos, fusis, and polis fundamental to Western philosophy. Based on developments in the field of sociology of sciences, comparative anthropology, political philosophy, as well as on a fundamentally new understanding of the practice of environmental movements, Latour proposes a program for building a "common world" in which non-human actors take part on an equal footing with people.Publisher's layout saved in a4.pdf format.
