The monograph is intended for readers who study the problem of US policy in the Middle East and who are generally interested in this topic. The book examines the events taking place in the Middle East under the influence of the United States since 1958, when the revolution took place in Iraq, the participation of the United States in the Arab-Israeli wars is considered. Special attention is paid to the US policy in the Arab countries of North Africa, as well as in oil-producing countries. American-Soviet relations in the Middle East during this period are also being studied. Separately, the US actions to move away from a comprehensive Arab-Israeli settlement, their unsuccessful attempts to eliminate the USSR from this process by 1975 and take the place of the sole arbiter are studied.
