Книга "Пороки" захоплює з перших сторінок і не відпускає до самого кінця. Автор майстерно передає глибокі емоції головної героїні, яка пережила справжнє пекло у стосунках з Себастьяном Грандом. Її боротьба за виживання та захист ненародженої дитини викликає сильні почуття, а напруга між любов'ю та ненавистю створює неймовірну атмосферу. Хоча в тексті є деякі недоліки в перекладі, загальна якість оповіді та глибина персонажів компенсують це.
