Most books on yoga and Ayurveda, as a rule, have a significant drawback: when it comes to plants that are recommended for use, only names appear, and mostly Indian or English. What kind of plant is it difficult to understand | accordingly, advice cannot be followed. In addition, in everyday health practice, it is more practical to use local plants that are equivalent in effect to traditional Indian ones, which can be difficult to obtain. We have tried to correct all these shortcomings in this book, continuing the work of Ayurvedic specialist Dr. David Frawley, who compiled an arsenal of "utilitarian yogic plants" for America. Here his recommendations are adapted for Russia, and without such information it is impossible to follow the advice drawn from the translated literature. First of all, we paid attention to plants that can be grown independently at home and used fresh. The book "Herbs for Yoga and Ayurveda" continues the author's series by Maria Nikolaeva in the "Tradition" publishing group.< /p>The collection includes two texts previously published separately under the name of Doljma Jangkhu. The first book was published by the Amrita-Rus publishing house under the title Herbs for Yoga: An Experience of Adaptation to the Temperate Zone, and the second book was published on LitRes under the title Ayurvedic Spiritual Practice.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
