“Futurist Mafarka. The African Novel" is a full-fledged "slap in the face of public taste" delivered by T. F. Marinetti in 1909, shortly after the Futurist Manifesto. Translated into Russian by Vadim Shershenevich and published by him in a small Moscow publishing house in 1916, this book was not republished in Russia for exactly one hundred years, becoming a bibliographic rarity. The current edition fully reproduces the Russian text by Shershenevich and makes up for the cuts he made for censorship reasons.Foreword by E. Bobrinskaya
