This book is Lama Ole Nydahl's account of his encounter with Buddhist teachers. In the late 1960s, at a time of hippies, rock and roll and amazing scientific discoveries, when the West was experiencing a huge interest in Eastern philosophy and religion, young Danes Ole and Hanna Nydahl went on their honeymoon to Nepal. There they met with the head of the Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism, the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa, and became his disciples. For several years, recalcitrant Europeans studied with the Karmapa in the Himalayas and received from him a complete transmission of the highest Buddhist methods of working with the mind. This training radically changed their lives. They left their old habits and in 1972, at the request of the Karmapa, returned to Europe to bring the Buddhist Teaching to the West. The publisher's layout of the book is saved in PDF A4 format.
