Kyiv has again become the protagonist of Viktor Kirkevich's new project. This time the author decided to share with readers his own vision of the history of his beloved city, and in a variety of eras, from ancient times to modern times. The first book of the History of Kiev project is called Kiev Russkiy. It talks about the beginning of our history, about the Eastern Slavs and their neighbors (Khazars, Pechenegs, Germans), about what tribes lived on the territory of our country in ancient times, who and when founded Kiev - "the mother of Russian cities".< /p>The author, defending his point of view, not only interprets well-known historical facts in a new way, but also introduces the reader to little-known, sometimes very exotic, theories about the origin of Russia. And this fresh, albeit ambiguous look at the history of Kiev and Kievan Rus certainly encourages an independent search for truth and makes you think about eternal questions: “Who are we?”, “Where did we come from?”, “Where are we going?”.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
