Дік Свааб, з його багаторічним досвідом у дослідженні мозку, майстерно пояснює складні наукові концепції простими словами, що робить текст доступним для широкого кола читачів. Я був вражений, як автор зумів пов'язати різні аспекти людського життя, від дитинства до старіння, через призму функціонування мозку. Кожен розділ наповнений цікавими фактами та дослідженнями, які спонукають до роздумів про наше існування, моральність, ідентичність та багато інших важливих тем. Хоча переклад тексту, виконаний за допомогою штучного інтелекту, іноді має незначні недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від книги.
