The main problem of the book is the crisis of modern intelligence. The main provisions of game theory, the theory of social systems, the theory of conflicts are taken as a methodological basis. At the same time, intelligence is considered for the first time as a specific social phenomenon and as a social structure capable of self-reflection and self-reproduction. An attempt was made to determine the causes of the intelligence crisis from the standpoint of the loss of a clear enemy and hybrid warfare. Particular attention is focused on the consideration of the portrait of the intelligence officer as the main subject of intelligence activities and the characteristics of the actions of national intelligence services.
