The features of the competence of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea in relation to other courts and arbitration are reflected.Terms and recommendations of the study can be used in practical work of the governmental bodies of the Russian Federation responsible for conducting the foreign policy activities in the exploration and use of the oceans.
