“Parvi Stupki” (“First Steps”) is for beginners to learn Bulgarian. The textbook is interesting in that it contains a minimum of theory and a maximum of practice: you can learn grammatical forms and replenish vocabulary by reading Bulgarian fairy tales, non-adapted texts of fiction, texts about the traditions of Bulgaria. Consists of 16 lessons, with sections: "Theory", "New words", "Practice", "Ideas for traveling around Bulgaria". Keys to exercises and a dictionary. The illustrations are photographs from the author's personal archive.
