Ancestors of author of this book are inflexible keepers of "old faith", merchants of the first guild of Аносовы. Their loyalty to Orthodoxy and selfless love to Russia passed to young Nina, from early years running into the most different influences in own family. Her father Yefim is the strong merchant, educated in старообрядческой traditions, mother, - a lutheran, stepfather, is a catholic. In remembrances Nina exposes the deeply Russian soul.
