"Delia Blanchflower" is a novel by the English writer Mrs. Ward, which tells the story of a young girl who is in a difficult situation, deing according to her own aspirations or surrendering to the power of social conventions. The plot unfolds in the Victorian era and is permeated with themes of social restrictions, female independence and finding one's own place in the world. Thanks to the skillful psychological disclosure of the characters and the dizzying atmosphere of that time, this book leaves many deep impressions on readers and remains relevant even in the Ukrainian translation.
