Creative heritage of the Russian thinker, writer and publicist Vasiliy Розанова (1856-1919) surprises the scale and many-sided nature. His original and unconventional looks to history, religion, moral, literature caused the furious polemic of contemporaries. In the years of Soviet power the name Розанова was fallen into oblivion, his labours were not printed, work did not have attracted attention researchers.
