“Roma Rides” is a cult story of a round-the-world trip that twenty-year-old Roman Svechnikov set off on.
On foot and hitchhiking, by boat and motorcycle, along the mountain passes of Georgia and the steppes of Mongolia, along the rivers of Laos and the roads of Alaska. There was often not a penny in the pocket, and the route was always determined by chance. Roma photographed, remembered, wrote down. And during the journey I understood a lot about myself, about the world and about what freedom is.
For the first time in Russian, the book was published by the Corpus publishing house in 2016.

Його опис гірських перевалів Грузії, безкрайніх степів Монголії та мальовничих річок Лаосу настільки живий, що ви відчуваєте, ніби самі перебуваєте на цих місцях. Автор не лише розповідає про свої пригоди, але й глибоко аналізує, що означає бути вільним, як важливо слухати свій внутрішній голос та йти за покликом серця. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає загальному враженню від книги. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто мріє про подорожі та прагне зрозуміти себе і світ навколо. Це справжнє джерело натхнення для кожного мандрівника!
