Among the great number of the popular books, devoted histories of slavs, not so much labours the authors of that lean against serious scientific basis, and the more on the own field researches. To the number of such works, undoubtedly, the book of the known in the whole world home archaeologists of Irene Petrovna Русановой (1929-1998) and Boris Анисимовича Тимощука (1919-2003) belongs.
