Книга "Смертельний дубль" - це справжнє мистецтво, яке поєднує в собі детективний сюжет і ностальгію за епохою 70-х років. Автор майстерно відтворює атмосферу того часу, і читач відчуває, ніби сам опиняється в павільйонах кіностудії, спостерігаючи за драмою, яка розгортається на його очах. Сюжет захоплює з перших сторінок: загадкова смерть актора Топоркова, за якою слідує жорстоке вбивство режисера, створює напружену атмосферу, що тримає в напрузі до самого кінця. Внутрішній стан героїв, їхні переживання та емоції описані так реалістично, що неможливо не відчути їхній біль і тривогу.
