The purpose of the publication is to restore the picture of the bloody events and the coup of 1801. The conspiracy that ended with the tragic death of Emperor Paul I is told by his contemporaries and direct participants - a brilliant horse guard officer, “a knight without fear and reproach” N. A. Sablukov, one of the main conspirators are Count L. L. Bennigsen, the famous Polish politician Prince Adam Czartoryski and others.
