Eusebius of Caesarea (Pamphilus) (about 260 - 339) was born in Palestine, educated at the schools of Jerusalem and Antioch. He studied the works of Plato, Philo of Alexandria, and was especially exposed to the teachings of Origen. Despite the controversy of his dogmatic views, Eusebius of Caesarea is rightfully considered the father of church history. His most famous work, “Ecclesiastical History,” is dedicated to the events of the Christian world before 324, in which numerous contemporary archival documents were used. Adjacent to it is the famous panegyric “Four Books of Eusebius Pamphilus, Bishop of Caesarea in Palestine on the Life of Blessed Basileus Constantine,” as well as a small work on the history of martyrs: “The Book of the Palestinian Martyrs.”

Хоча переклад тексту здійснено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних неточностей, загалом якість перекладу на високому рівні. Ця книга не лише розширює кругозір, але й спонукає до роздумів про віру, історію та спадщину, яку залишили нам попередники.
