Egor Radov is one of the first representatives of the “new Russian literature” of the 1980-90s. The prose of Radov, the “Russian Burroughs,” is a strange combination of unnaturally pretentious language and a fairly clearly constructed plot. The main theme of the writer is madness and the limits of rationality in humans. This edition includes two novels by the writer, “I” and “Or Hell.”
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
