This book is a continuation of the first. (“Three Tales of the City of Shadows”) Although I was not able to unite the fairy tales and stories presented in it with a single, common theme, I hope this will not make them less interesting. The first fairy tale is an attempt to laugh at the numerous primitive moralizing fables that have recently been used by the authors to try to “reason” with the younger generation of computer fans. The story about Conan's adventures is written in my traditional style: adventures and exploits! “Return” is a prologue from a social fantasy novel about the Little People and their place in the technogenic world. And “The Persuasion” is a tribute to my respect to the great storyteller Bazhov. Just like “Russell’s Beast” - to Arthur Conan Doyle. (I just hope they won’t be offended!) The story about two adventurers is just a joke.
