Smolensk Prince Vladimir, having united the Krivichy lands under his hand, against the backdrop of ongoing reforms and progressive industrial development, begins to prepare a large-scale invasion of the lands of Black Rus', which has recently fallen under the rule of the Lithuanian kunigas Mindovg, and if the campaign progresses favorably, he plans to strike into the very heart of the Lithuanian lands, eliminating in the bud the growing predator that in the near future will turn into the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, which absorbed most of the ancient Russian lands at the time of its heyday.
