"Спіймати тигра за хвіст" - це справжній шедевр від Джеймса Хедлі Чейза, який вражає своєю динамічністю та непередбачуваністю сюжету. Книга занурює читача у світ маленького містечка, де звичайне життя банківського службовця Кена Холланда раптово перетворюється на справжній трилер. Чейз майстерно грає на контрастах: спочатку ми бачимо спокійне життя героя, а потім - хаос, в якому він опиняється через одну невдалу зустріч. Цей роман не лише про вбивство, а й про людську природу, страхи та боротьбу за виживання. Читати його - це як кататися на американських гірках: емоції змінюються від спокою до напруги, а кожна сторінка тримає в напрузі до самого фіналу. Хоча переклад має деякі недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую всім любителям детективів та захоплюючих сюжетів!
