Two years ago, young investigator Olga Gradova participated in the investigation into the murder of her best friend’s boyfriend. The suspects were a representative of the drug business and a thief in law. The case turned out to be very complicated and dirty, but in the end Olga and her partner were able to identify the killer. Unfortunately, there was no trial because the man died. And then, as time passed, another corpse appeared, which belonged to the mistress of one of the former defendants. It seems that the new crime is somehow connected to the old one, as the pathologist's report and ballistics examination clearly indicate. Moreover, it turns out that the man who was thought dead for several years is not so dead after all. But how is this possible? We will have to go back and deal with the past murder from scratch in order to draw threads from it to the current investigation and, finally, punish the culprits, whoever they are.

Ольга Градова, молодий слідчий, стає справжнім втіленням рішучості та професіоналізму, коли їй доводиться повернутися до старої справи, яка, здавалося б, була закрита. Автор майстерно переплітає минуле і сучасність, створюючи атмосферу напруги та загадки. Я була вражена, як детективні елементи поєднуються з емоційними переживаннями героїв, що робить їх більш реалістичними та близькими. Читати цю книгу було справжнім задоволенням, адже кожна сторінка тримала в напрузі, а фінал став справжнім шоком! Рекомендую всім любителям детективів та тих, хто цінує якісну прозу!
