Книга Валерія Єсенкова "Лицар, або Легенда про Михайла Булгакова" є не лише біографією одного з найзначніших російських письменників XX століття, а й глибоким соціально-психологічним дослідженням епохи, в якій жив і творив Булгаков. Автор майстерно поєднує документальні факти з художніми елементами, що дозволяє читачеві зануритися в атмосферу того часу та зрозуміти складнощі, з якими стикалася російська інтелігенція. Книга порушує важливі питання совісті, обов'язку, гідності та чесності художника, що робить її актуальною і сьогодні. Хоча в тексті є деякі недоліки в перекладі, це не зменшує загального враження від читання. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться не лише життям Булгакова, а й історією мистецтва та літератури в цілому!
