“Herodotus' Scythia” is one of the most famous books by the famous Russian historian. It analyzes the data of the Greek geographer and historian Herodotus (5th century BC) about the tribes living in Eastern Europe in the 1st millennium BC. e. Based on the latest archaeological data, Academician B.A. Rybakov confirms the authenticity of Herodotus’ messages or revises them, establishes the travel route of the Greek geographer, reveals the content of Greek legends recorded by Herodotus, and restores the route of Darius Hystaspes’ campaign to Scythia. Based on the latest archaeological discoveries, an ethnogeographical map of Scythia has been compiled.
