Tragicomedy in two acts. A harvest festival in a city where, of course, officially, there have been no harvests for a long time... Only in an abandoned orchard, converted into a park, visitors and walkers collect fruits from semi-dry, thin, barely alive apple trees, which it is unclear how else they produce a bountiful harvest , although they are not looked after at all. Helping to organize the event are Alexander Semyonovich - a specialist, director, buried talent, and his longtime acquaintance Sonya - perhaps a capable, but unsightly incompetent, whom Alexander Semyonovich has essentially been dragging along with him all this time. Alexander’s birthday is in two days and his fellow artists are throwing him a small party after the holiday. Here, in a city where nothing has been grown for a long time, many of them today have to reap a big harvest - new conclusions, decisions, success. And for many this harvest will not immediately seem like a holiday.
