Книга "Хор ворон" - це справжня перлина для всіх шанувальників історичних детективів. Оуен Арчер, наш улюблений капітан міських приставів, знову потрапляє в епіцентр інтриг та загадок, що розгортаються на фоні інтронізації нового архієпископа. Автор майстерно передає атмосферу грудневого Йорка 1374 року, з його похмурими вулицями та таємничими персонажами. Сюжет тримає в напрузі від початку до кінця, а розкриття таємниць навколо трьох загадкових смертей не залишає часу на відпочинок. Особливо вражає, як автор вдало поєднує історичні факти з вигаданими подіями, створюючи глибокий і захоплюючий сюжет. Хоча переклад тексту місцями може бути недосконалим, це не заважає насолоджуватися читанням. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить детективи з історичним контекстом, адже вона не лише розважальна, а й пізнавальна!
