Книга "Хороший чистий бій" переносить читача у пекло Північної Африки 1942 року, де кожен день стає боротьбою за виживання. Автор майстерно описує не лише бойові дії, але й атмосферу, що панує на полі бою: спека, пил, спрага та постійна загроза. Читач відчуває, як важко доводиться пілотам ескадрильї Hornet та бійцям S.A.S., які виконують свої небезпечні місії у тилу ворога. Ця книга не прикрашає війну, а показує її такою, якою вона є: жорстокою, безжальною, але водночас і героїчною. Переклад, хоч і має деякі недоліки, все ж передає емоції та напругу, які відчувають герої. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цікавиться військовою історією та хоче відчути атмосферу того часу
