Читач відчуває всю тяжкість горя Еріка, її боротьбу з самотністю та пошуки сенсу життя. Книга змушує замислитися про цінність родинних зв'язків, про те, як важливо не втрачати надію навіть у найтемніші часи. Хоча переклад має деякі недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від твору. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить глибокі, емоційні історії, які залишають слід у серці
