The book tells the story from the famous cartoon “Ilya Muromets and the Nightingale the Robber.” The story is narrated by the main characters themselves - the hero Ilya and the maiden chronicler Alyonushka. They will tell how Nightingale the Robber stole the prince’s treasury and stole Ilya’s favorite horse, Burushka. Ilya, Alyonushka and the Prince of Kyiv had to go to Constantinople to rescue Burushka, save the treasury, and along the way accomplish new heroic deeds.
