Here is a collection of thoughts and observations united by a common theme - Christian parenting. All statements are distributed into thematic sections touching on a variety of issues - general principles and priorities of education, the role of punishment and praise, introducing children to church life, features of raising children of different ages, boys and girls, etc. In our time, replete with different pedagogical schools and directions, it is especially important for parents to remember that their main task is to raise new Christians. And the answer for how they cope with this matter must be held before God. The collection presents a wide range of opinions on various subjects, drawn from the Holy Scriptures, the works of the Church Fathers of different times (from the first centuries of Christianity to the 20th century), from books and conversations of modern pastors of the Orthodox Church.
