Розчарування від повторення
На жаль, друга книга серії "Вічний" не виправдала моїх сподівань. Хоча перший том був захоплюючим і інтригуючим, у другій частині я відчув, що автор просто копіює ідеї та сюжетні лінії з попередньої книги. Головний герой, Шейд, знову стикається з тими ж труднощами, що й раніше, і, на жаль, його розвиток як персонажа виглядає поверхневим. Ідея про те, що він не пам'ятає нічого зі свого минулого життя, могла б бути цікавою, але в цій книзі вона не розкривається належним чином. Крім того, незважаючи на те, що переклад загалом якісний, я помітив кілька місць, де фрази звучать дивно або не зовсім коректно. Це заважає повністю зануритися в історію. Сподіваюся, що наступні томи зможуть повернутися до того захоплюючого стилю, який був у першій книзі, але поки що ця частина залишає більше запитань, ніж відповідей.
