Олдісс майстерно описує еволюцію цивілізації через 800 мільйонів років, змушуючи задуматися про наше місце у Всесвіті та можливі наслідки наших дій. Його стиль письма вражає глибиною думки та образністю, що робить читання не лише захопливим, але й пізнавальним. Хоча переклад тексту, виконаний за допомогою штучного інтелекту, має деякі недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від книги.
