"Rakentai Solness: A Tragedy in Three Acts" is a landmark work of the Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. The action unfolds in a small town, where the main character, architect Halvard Solness, finds himself in a web of his own ambitions and fears. He has an affair with his young wife, the femme fatale Hilda Wenstoy, who is full of hatred and ambition. While working together on a construction project, the interaction between Solness and Wenstoy becomes increasingly tense, leading to tragic consequences. This play is about the clash of ideals, desires and moral convictions where the characters face their own bigger demons. Romantic passions, tragedy and mysticism are intertwined in a story of experiences and inner struggle, forcing the reader to rethink the nature of human relationships and values.
