Collection collected by the Oral History Center of the European University of St. Petersburg. within the framework of the project “The Blockade in the Fates and Memory of Leningraders”, contains interviews not only with residents of the besieged city, but also with their children. A total of 11 interviews were collected (the average duration of recording one interview is about an hour) of people born between 1949 and 1969, whose parents lived in besieged Leningrad. All respondents are residents of St. Petersburg and have higher education.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
