In a country called the Six Duchies there lives a boy. He is the illegitimate son of the crown prince, although he does not even have a name. They plan to kill the boy in order to avoid future confusion with the succession to the throne, but the reigning monarch, his grandfather, stands up for him, and he receives a room in the royal palace, a place at the common table and the name Fitz. Книга "Учень убивці" – це неймовірна подорож у світ політичних інтриг, таємниць і особистісного зростання. Фітц, позашлюбний син наслідного принца, виявляється в центрі небезпечних подій, де його життя постійно під загрозою. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу напруги, де кожен крок Фітца може стати останнім. Мистецтво вбивства, яке викладає йому Чейд, не лише навчає його фізичних навичок, але й змушує задуматися про моральні аспекти своїх дій. Книга порушує питання про ідентичність, лояльність та ціну влади. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які незначно впливають на загальне враження, я вважаю, що ця історія варта уваги. Вона спонукає до роздумів і залишає після себе глибоке враження. Рекомендую всім, хто любить фентезі з елементами драми та психології!
