The novel by the famous Ukrainian writer Vladimir Malik takes readers to the end of the 12th century and tells the story of the tragic campaign of Novgorod-Seversky Prince Igor Svyatoslavich against the Polovtsians in 1185. Proposing his artistic hypotheses, the author simultaneously acts as a historian, researcher and interpreter of “The Tale of Igor’s Campaign.” The book also includes the poem by Prince Vladimir Galitsky “The Tale of Igor’s Campaign.”
