Young programmer, gamer and hacker Viant Furnak never stole those ill-fated thirteen million dollars, but still received 24 years in a penal colony for them. Viant was about to escape, but then a certain “major” from a certain government organization invited him to take part in some secret experiment. The case is murky, but there is a corresponding reward - a complete amnesty and the expungement of a criminal record. Viant barely agreed. And how could he not refuse if the mysterious “major” promised to use him as a programmer, gamer and hacker. The most interesting thing is that the “major” did not lie. He simply did not tell the whole truth. If only Viant knew what computer he would have to work on. What computer game will he have to go through and as what character? What difficulties to overcome. After all, the stake in that computer game was neither more nor less, but his own life.
