Девід Мітчелл вдало переплітає шість різних історій, які охоплюють різні епохи та жанри, створюючи унікальну мозаїку, що відображає взаємозв'язок між минулим, теперішнім і майбутнім. Кожна частина книги має свій унікальний стиль, від мореплавця XVIII століття до науково-фантастичного трилера, що робить читання захоплюючим та непередбачуваним. Я був вражений тим, як автор майстерно грає з часом і простором, змушуючи читача задуматися про вплив наших дій на майбутні покоління. Хоча переклад тексту, виконаний за допомогою штучного інтелекту, іноді має недоліки, це не заважає загальному враженню від книги.
