The sixth volume of the Collected Works of Nikolai Stepanovich Gumilev contains his artistic prose, which resurrects Pushkin’s traditions of “poet’s prose” in Russian literature of the 20th century. The story “Merry Brothers” is published for the first time in the author’s plot version.
