The first part of this story serves as a continuation of the story about my childhood described in the book “Boy”. I'm heading to East Africa for my first posting, but there aren't many exciting things to do on a day-to-day basis, so I'll only talk about the moments that are ingrained in my memory. The second part of this book, which describes my time in the Air Force, doesn't I had to select or discard individual episodes, since each moment - at least for me - was unforgettable.
